A DAY FOR TAKING STOCK

Juggling the demands of each day makes it difficult to pause and look closely at ones life and its real purpose. This can be especially true for busy people who have many responsibilities and multiple roles. For others, a recent change may have put several things about life in question. This time for taking stock offers an opportunity to do two things: (1) take a break from the distractions of daily life and (2) consider what your next steps may be.

Spend time with other interesting people who, like you, are committed to reflection and planning. Together we will study a model that suggests that life is lived in cycles, with appropriate tasks for each phase. Clarity of purpose, adequate support, and a mixture of work and play, engagement and retreat, doing and being are key elements of a life in balance.

Through guided activities, you will identify where you are in this cycle and develop a strategy for making your life more meaningful and satisfying. In a safe environment with opportunities for both solitude and time with others, you will be able to rest, reflect, and see your direction more clearly.
